There's always that ONE groomsman... (see above photo). Sometimes he can't look straight for a picture. Sometimes he can't see straight at all (see: had too much to drink). But there is one person who is going to be there to capture him falling into the lake, or taking over the dance floor with his shirt wildly un-tucked, so you have something to hold over his head until he's 85: and that person is ME.

Hi! I'm Melissa. And I would love to capture ALL the awesomeness that will be your wedding! You may have a few questions for me before that happens, so please ask away!

Q: Are you a good photographer?
A: Weeeellll, that's always a matter of perspective. *I* think I am. My mom thinks I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread. And I haven't had an unsatisfied client yet, sooooo....

Q: Do you give us all the photos, or do you limit them to a certain amount?
A: I give all the GOOD photos. So that one that I missed your face and got a great shot of the floor instead? Yeah, that one's not going to be in your gallery. Three of the same exact photo? What are you going to do with all three of them? I don't limit the amount of photos I give you, but I do artistically "cull" them so you're only getting the best!

Q: So how many photos will we get?
A: It's usually comes to about 25-75 photos/hour.

Q: Do we have to sign a contract?
A: Yep. That's one of those *business* things. It has to be done in order to save your date on my calendar.

Q: Is that it? That's all we need to book you?
A: The signed contract and a 25% retainer are all that is needed to book me officially!

Q: Will you travel to us? We're having our wedding in Guam.
A: I *will* travel to most places! I'm happy to get on a plane and head to Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Europe, Iceland, Canada, Ireland... Book me some tickets, y'all, and I'm there!

Q: When do you start and end coverage?
A: If you're booking a full 8-hour wedding package, we start from the time you are getting ready and we pack up when the party starts to roll out. If you're booking a 3-hour elopement, we can do getting ready photos, the actual elopement, and/or portraits. If time allows, we will do all three.

Q: If we do an elopement in the mountains and we have to hike, do you count the hiking time as part of your coverage?
A: Nope! Coverage begins when I start shooting!

Q: Gosh, all this sounds so good and we're just about ready to book! How much is this going to cost?
A: Take a peek at my Investment Guide! It should give you all the info you need!
